REVIEW: Quick FX CC Cream

CC Cream with my little sister's sesame street friends :D

Hello, hello beautiful humans! I am back with another review (and I promise to make a lot of reviews this year! I promise!) So, yea. Recently I have been looking for a cheap everyday BB cream (LOL! I'm always looking for cheap. Sorry not sorry :D) when I stumble upon Quick FX . I am not new to Quick FX since I have used their No-Shine Mattifier and their Tinted Moisturizer and one thing is for sure, it's affordable and does its work. (Okay that's just not one :D) Anyway, I was there and saw the CC Cream and I was like "Thank you Lord" and I grabbed it and paid immediately excited to go home to try it.

WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO YOUR HAIR?!

Yes, yes. Recently I had my hair dyed into green. (PS; It's semi-permanent so it'll definitely not stay green.) But anyway, that is not the reason why I posted this post. I am not here now to tell you that I changed my hair color to something "weird". I changed it because I WANTED TO. And just because IT MAKES ME FEEL SO FREAKING DIFFERENT. It shows my personality and it definitely sets me apart from everyone else. So, please don't judge me just because you saw me with OMBRE green hair. The very first time I went out with this kind of hair, I encountered JUDGMENTAL people. They literally laughed and teased that he should probably get orange hair. With me there hearing them, at least have the decency to go further where I can't hear you. And I know that guy won't see this post or at least know that he's the one I am referring to,but I want to tell you something, have manners. You and your 3 more friends. And after that incident, I realized that some people will judge you with just how you show yourself. They will judge you, laugh at you or even tease you. Different is good. Actually, DIFFERENT IS BETTER. Other that just being normal and be just like that guy. Now, I don't really feel bad or anything less about myself if people start telling me that I look "weird" with my hair. I mean I don't care about your opinion since I love my hair like this and your opinion is irrelevant. All I want to say is DO WHATEVER YOU WANT TO! Don't let other people get into your nerve and tell you that what you want is "weird" or "ugly" or whatever negative. BE HAPPY WITH YOUR CHOICES.

Different is Better. All the time.

First Week of School Advice!

credits to the owner

YAY OR NAY FOR THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL?  School can be fun but School can also be deadly at times! Here are some random advice to start a fresh new school year:

* Be Consistent- In whatever you do consistency is key. Never start good then spiraling down slowly.

* Be advance - Always be 10 steps ahead of everyone else. Doing this will give you so much credits at School.

* Be late and absent for a valid reason-  Never skip class for no apparent reason.

* Be positive- having a positive outlook about everything just makes everything work.

* Be planned- planning ahead of time is good for you to keep track of all the things you'll need to do.

* Be friendly- I know socializing is hard (most especially if you're new in class) but you gotta have to do it.

*Don't forget to eat- Eat before going to school, while at school and after school. Starving yourself won't help your brain process and it'll be hard for you to think.

*Be neat and clean- nothing more attracting than a neat looking school girl right?

* Be happy and thankful- always be thankful that you're in school learning to have a better future because some kids out there wants so badly to be in your position. Never waste the opportunity,

But whatever happens just enjoy School it exist to help you for your future. Cherish every moment 'cause you're only there once.

Beauty Questions Tag

Credits to the owner of the photo.
Hi gorg! How was your week? Last week my bestfriend tagged me to answer her BEAUTY QUESTIONS. I was so busy all weekdays that I never had the time to do this post, but since it's sunday today. I finally have the time to blog. :D Thank you bokky for tagging me! Check her blog out ->  BOKKY!

Here are her questions:

  • Is your hair naturally curly or straight?
       - I am naturally curly. <3
  • Do you dye your hair it yourself or go to a salon?
       - I always dye it myself because I want to do it my way.
  • Do you wear the same style everyday, or do you change it?
       - As for going to school, I have no choice but to wear my uniform but if I go out I make sure to change it up. And it also depends on what mood I'm in. :D
  • Do you do your own manicure/pedicure or go to a salon?
       - I go to a salon for my nails. For some weird reasons, I can color my hair but not my nails. LOL
  • How often do you change your nail polish?
        - For my hands, I keep it clean 'cause #CulinaryStudent. But for my toe nails I always make sure they have color 'cause I always felt that my toes look ugly without nail polish..I know I'm weird.
  • Do you polish your toes in the winter or just in summer?
        - All year round. :D
  • How long does it take for you to put on make-up?
-30 minutes minimum. I want everything to be super ok before heading out and I think that's what makes me slow when putting on my make-up. Oh! And I always have those random dancing moments. So, yes, 30 minutes when I'm in a hurry.
  • What do you do first? Face or eyes?
-Face. Since I only put on eye liner for my eyes.
  • Do you collect make-up or just buy what you need when you need it?
        - I freaking collect them like the hoarder that I am. LOL :D
  • Do you do a full face of make-up everyday?
         - No. I don't like heavy make up. It makes me feel like a cake. :D
  • Do you wear make-up when you're just at home?
         - I don't. And never will.
  • Will you leave the house without make-up?
         - Yes, ofcourse. Sometimes I just don't feel like putting on something in to my face.
  • How many high-end products do you have?
        - Very few. I mostly have drugstore make-ups since I'm a "financially struggling teenager" :D
  • Do you plan your OOTD every night or decide when you're getting dressed?
        - Nope. Except for major events.
  • How tall are you?
         - 5 flat I always say but God knows how an inch will make me happy :D
  • Do you speak any foreign languages?
        - English. I studied french last year..well, I never learned anything except for 'Merci Beaucoup' (thank you)
  • Do you keep a list of products to try or do you see other posts?
         - I list down the products I wanna try and search for reviews online. If I see positive reviews I buy it.
  • How did you come up with your blog name?
         - the phrase inspired me. "She who dares. Wins." Pretty much the motivation phrase I needed in life.
  • What's your favorite color?
         - Black.. is black a color????
  • What make-up piece, you can't live without?
        - Ugh! LIPSTICK! Deprive me of all the other make-ups but never lipstick. I have dark lips (like those who smoke. I don't smoke.) and I hate seeing my lips bare. I makes me flinch and cry in agony (OA MUCH! HAHAHA)

Hah! Thought there were a few more questions *cries* I love tags! Thanks again my dear bestfriend for tagging me! You know how much I love tags.
I tag Marsya J , Alex , and my new acquaintance Kayleigh

Have a great week ahead everyone!!

How to become an Independent Girl

Credits to Owner.
Happy International Women's Day! And to celebrate this day I decided to push through this post that I have been delaying for so long already. This is the perfect day to publish this!

Here are some tips on how to became an independent woman/girl:

*Know What You Can Do

You don't have to be old enough to become independent. You can start as young as you could. Keep in mind that someday you'll live by yourself and you don't want to start feeling out of the world when you're alone. Start by knowing what you can do for now. Learning to do chores like washing the dishes, cleaning, and cooking. You don't need to let anyone do the job for you.

*Make Sure To Learn Things On Your Own

We wouldn't be called independent if we don't do things by ourselves.Learn new things or enhance the ones you already know. As much as possible, we do what we have to do. We don't have to rely on someone else to do something for us. Because independent woman/girl does the job herself.

*Being Alone Isn't A Problem

Being independent doesn't mean we are always alone. It's just that there will be times that we will be ALONE. And that thought shouldn't terrify us. We can get through anything by ourselves. We always have to think that we only have ourselves and to love ourselves. And there is nothing wrong with ME MYSELF AND I.

*Time And Money Management

Not only we can manage to be alone or to do stuff by ourselves. We also have to learn to manage our time and money. We have everything planned. Most especially our time. We will be one of those people who have their shizt together. We don't slack cause we have to finish everything.  Being independent doesn't have to mean that you have to provide for yourself. Even if we receive cash from our parents or still living under the same roof with your parents doesn't mean we can't be considered as independent gals.

*The Perfect Mind Set

We always have to think ahead of everything. Not just on what to eat later but thinking about more further like the future. We always see ourselves being successful so we strive for the best. We don't just "go with the flow" we manage the flow. We don't settle for less.

*Be that STRONG woman/girl

We're not perfect there will be times where we will fail. But no matter what happens, even if someone brings us down, we will still get up and continue life. Because we're STRONG. We're build to bring ourselves up. Being independent comes with being strong. Being strong enough to weather the storms.

Being a Strong Independent woman/girl takes a lot of courage. But don't be terrified, you might thank yourself in the future for becoming that. Don't forget to love yourself first and everything will follow.

Go gorg!

Going SOLO

Hello gorg! How's life recently? Me, I moved to a new place for studying purposes. Yep, that's why I'm doing this post. I haven't been here for a week but I surely learned a lot of things already. I sure did adjust a lot in the last 5 days that I've stayed here.

Are you moving to a new place too? Here's some tips to get you started:

*LOOK FOR A DECENT PLACE TO STAY IN
What I mean by decent is a place where you will feel safe (I mean a place that's really safe) and comfortable. You might not want to settle in an environment that is dirty, right? We still want to feel at home. Try looking for a dorm/apartment that has security guards or CCTV cameras. This way you'll feel more safer mostly at night.

*START PREPARING 1 WEEK BEFORE MOVING
Surely you've seen the place you're going to move in. Think of the things you will need if you are there. Of course, let's not forget the necessities. Are you allowed to cook inside the dorm/apartment? Or bring pets? Those things you have to know and consider. Make sure to make a list of the things you'll need so won't forget anything.

*CHECK YOUR LIST THE NIGHT BEFORE YOU MOVE IN
JUST BECAUSE YOU WOULDN'T LIKE TO FORGET SOMETHING. Just to be sure.

*CLEAN YOUR PLACE
When you get to your place, make sure you brought with you all purpose cleaners. You might want to scrub the floor, walls and the CR. Every inch of your place. If you're like an OC like me when it comes to cleanliness.

*PERSONALIZE YOUR SPACE
Decide where to put your things. Your tables, bed, appliances. Make sure you have efficient space. Nobody enjoys a crammed place.

*ROAM AROUND OUTSIDE YOUR PLACE
You wouldn't stay inside forever! You have to know the things around you. You have to be aware of everything since you're new to the place. Adapt the environment and how people do their things.

*LOOK FOR NEARBY RESTAURANTS, TRANSPORTATION, HOSPITAL, OR COFFEE SHOP
You just have to know.

*BE ATTENTIVE
You have to pay attention to everything that is happening around you. It is hard to be in a place that you don't know anyone. Don't stay out late at night. You don't want to end up getting raped or kidnapped right?

It really is a lot of adjusting and it's not just with the place but also with the environment and the people around you. Maybe a month is still a short time time to say that you've finally adjusted. The first few days you got sent off will be the worst ones. I mean it. You'll cry and feel lonely most of the time especially when you don't know someone. But you'll slowly realize that living alone is a good thing (If you're used to being independent tho. Some people just aren't used to being alone) It will make you grow. Being independent feels like you've finally come out of your comfort zone. And that is what makes you a better person.

You got it gorg!

Decoding Girls: 5 Things that guys hate that girls do.

Credits to the owner of this photo.

Ok. I'm super excited to start this post (too excited that I actually asked my mom to delay our trip to the grocery. )  Aside from listing down what they hate I'll probably put down the reasons why us, girls, do that. Yep, everything has a reason. Haha!

1.) Unnecessary Emotions

Guys hate that we're too emotional. They don't get why we cry to like everything.   Well, I am an emotional person (and also half the human population. LOL) I get super emotional sometimes. And I don't hate myself for that. I cry because of the most littlest thing and anything that tugs my heart. And girls can't control those things. I think it's in our nature already. We are built like this. No matter how hard we try to be strong our emotional self will always come out. And, sorry guys, you just have to deal with it.

2.) Beauty Routine

Guys hates it when we took forever to get ready. SORRY NOT SORRY GUYS.
This is something that you just have to accept and let go.   When guys get ready they just take a shower, brush their teeth, put on clothes and perfume and they're good to go. But with girls it is a whole lot of a different story. We do this just because we want to look ready for the world. We don't want to go out there looking like we got run down by a truck. We do this stuffs to build our confidence. And we need that. So, just get over it 'cause we won't stop doing this even if you guys hate it.

3.) "The PMS thing"

Guys hate the what they call "The PMS Thing". Stop hating about us telling you that we're experiencing PMS because you don't know how it feels and how hard for us to manage everything while having PMS. Just stop hating about it. Just stop. I personally hate guys that complains about girls having PMS. For me, having PMS is a serious issue. You can't just tell girls to stop complaining about it. Stop being a jerk. AND HANDS DOWN TO THOSE GUYS THAT UNDERSTANDS (you the real MVP! LOL)

4.) Insecurity Issues

We can't blame guys hating this issue, 'cause we hate it too. But you just have to understand that we can't stop this issue. In our generation now, we tend to have 'STANDARDS'. And as a girl having not to meet the standards means that we're a total 'LOSER'. A nobody. And we don't want that. We want to be beautiful, sexy, and pleased by everyone just like those girls on the magazines. And let's be real, we can't be just like them. And I hate it when insecurity kicks in, it makes us vulnerable..unwanted. So, as a guy make your girls feel wanted and loved just the way they are.

5.) Over Thinking and Being Indecisive

Yep, we tend to over think and be indecisive. Because we don't want to regret the decisions we make. So we over analyze. Just let us be

I enjoyed doing this post. REALLY  I have wanted to do this for so long. And I hope you enjoyed reading too!! MUCH LOVE

Love, ISHA
