My First Travel Experience: Hong Kong

Manila from up above at night.

Hello Beautiful! My first travel to another country is such a life changing experience I wouldn't let the opportunity of telling you my story pass by.

I haven't tried riding in an airplane before and it really is one of my dreams. Getting your passport is a struggle but it will all be worth it when you start to go places.

My First Summer Siren Experience

Hello beautiful people! I am back with a whole lot of stories to tell!

Last April 8, 9 and 10, me and my cousins went to San Narciso, Zambales to attend the annual Summer Siren Music Festival. It was my first time to attend a music festival and I wasn't expecting anything. I just want the experience and a check on my bucket list.

Finally!

I know what you're thinking. You graduated AGAIN?! YES! YES I DID!

I can't explain how happy I am. I am very much overwhelmed of how the whole year had been for me.  It truly is one of the best year of my life. A time I can't and won't forget! It was a fantastic year.

WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO YOUR HAIR?!

Yes, yes. Recently I had my hair dyed into green. (PS; It's semi-permanent so it'll definitely not stay green.) But anyway, that is not the reason why I posted this post. I am not here now to tell you that I changed my hair color to something "weird". I changed it because I WANTED TO. And just because IT MAKES ME FEEL SO FREAKING DIFFERENT. It shows my personality and it definitely sets me apart from everyone else. So, please don't judge me just because you saw me with OMBRE green hair. The very first time I went out with this kind of hair, I encountered JUDGMENTAL people. They literally laughed and teased that he should probably get orange hair. With me there hearing them, at least have the decency to go further where I can't hear you. And I know that guy won't see this post or at least know that he's the one I am referring to,but I want to tell you something, have manners. You and your 3 more friends. And after that incident, I realized that some people will judge you with just how you show yourself. They will judge you, laugh at you or even tease you. Different is good. Actually, DIFFERENT IS BETTER. Other that just being normal and be just like that guy. Now, I don't really feel bad or anything less about myself if people start telling me that I look "weird" with my hair. I mean I don't care about your opinion since I love my hair like this and your opinion is irrelevant. All I want to say is DO WHATEVER YOU WANT TO! Don't let other people get into your nerve and tell you that what you want is "weird" or "ugly" or whatever negative. BE HAPPY WITH YOUR CHOICES.

Different is Better. All the time.

#RealGoals

The internet has fondly started a rave about #Goals and we're all hyped up about it. But what I thought is what are your real goals? I mean except for #EyebrowGoals, #RelationshipGoals or #FriendshipGoals. Why not, #DreamGoals like #ProfessionGoals or #MindsetGoals ? I don't know why we are all into something that can't be ours or us. Why don't we celebrate what we have? Except posting photos of some random girl and saying, " #BodyGoal" Why don't we post our own photo and say, "#LoveYourselfGoals". We have been a generation of judgmental minds, and whatever we see on the internet or on the TV or magazines, that is what's right! That will be our #RealGoals! To be the same exact replica of that skinny girl you saw on the magazine! I am so tired of trying to be perfect, like our generation's definition of beautiful. I'd rather be ugly or basic, than starve myself to death just to look perfect for others. My point here is, we see a differently wrong #Goals. Because honestly our kind of goals now are trying to slowly kill us mentally and physically. Why don't we re-think our way of seeing things! Try a different perspective.

Effective Studying Tips!

Hi Gorg! I'm so happy to be blogging right now. I know, i know.. it has been decades since the last post (exaggerated much?!  ) I have a valid reason so please bear with me. I have been very busy with life ( Well, I always am! Like every freaking post! I say that! HAHA sorry) But anyway, enough with my non sense blabbing. We all know that school has already started (atleast here in the Philippines) and exams and quizzes are on their way, I know some of us might not be into hardcore reviewing so I'm going to list down some "Effective Studying Tips" that I personally do:

* Enough Sleep - Yes, sleep. Your mind will not function properly if you're not going to give it a rest. So if I were you, I'd have a good night sleep and wake up earlier than you usually do and start reviewing. Your mind is so refreshed and so ready to learn, you will swear by this method!

* Enough Food - Uhuh, food. You might want to eat first before studying because you can't focus properly with an empty stomach (Well, it's like that for me. High five if you're like that too!! ) All you could ever think about is food...and headache or stomach ache. Either you're on a diet or you  just forgot to eat, you gotta have to put something inside your body first to fully function.

* Eager to Learn - If you're a GC (grade conscious) just like me then you know you're in it for the goal (to pass the exam or quiz) but if you lack motivation, contemplate about what you're doing and must embrace it. You can't do good if you don't love what you're doing.

* Clear Mind - I don't think I need to further talk about this. You must first make sure that you're focused on reviewing only.

* Free of Gadgets - And to focus it means no gadgets while reviewing! You gotta have to focus darling. And gadgets gets your mind away from what you're doing. So, go ahead and leave that phone or tablet or laptop somewhere that you won't see it while you're reviewing.

* Most Effective Way To Remember - My style of remembering things are writing them down. So, I get a clean sheet of paper and make my own reviewer. Like everything you have to study about. Every freaking details are there. The other "method" that I use is flashcards I buy those index cards without lines (like index card size but blank...hope you do get what I'm trying to explain here! HAHAHA) and write the question on one side and the answer on the other. And challenge yourself! And If you don't prefer doing much effort, just try to highlight important things to remember straight from your book or manuals. (But srsly tho, this method doesn't work on me! )

Always remember, grades are just numbers written on paper. It can't measure a person's ability to do some other things. Now, go ace that exam darling!

First Week of School Advice!

credits to the owner

YAY OR NAY FOR THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL?  School can be fun but School can also be deadly at times! Here are some random advice to start a fresh new school year:

* Be Consistent- In whatever you do consistency is key. Never start good then spiraling down slowly.

* Be advance - Always be 10 steps ahead of everyone else. Doing this will give you so much credits at School.

* Be late and absent for a valid reason-  Never skip class for no apparent reason.

* Be positive- having a positive outlook about everything just makes everything work.

* Be planned- planning ahead of time is good for you to keep track of all the things you'll need to do.

* Be friendly- I know socializing is hard (most especially if you're new in class) but you gotta have to do it.

*Don't forget to eat- Eat before going to school, while at school and after school. Starving yourself won't help your brain process and it'll be hard for you to think.

*Be neat and clean- nothing more attracting than a neat looking school girl right?

* Be happy and thankful- always be thankful that you're in school learning to have a better future because some kids out there wants so badly to be in your position. Never waste the opportunity,

But whatever happens just enjoy School it exist to help you for your future. Cherish every moment 'cause you're only there once.

My life recently (March)

YAAAS! Your guess is right! I just graduated from college!  I am the happiest. And yes, I'm still in school studying culinary arts.

I have been very busy completing my requirements for graduation. Since I am staying in pampanga and my old school is in Subic. I have to travel hours even if there's classes the next day. Talk about sacrifices. I have to make sure to make it on time at my old school and go home after to Pampanga cause I have to attend school the next morning. It was tiring and all but I know it was worth it. No, IT WAS REALLY WORTH IT. I finally have a diploma. A college graduate.

Life has been pretty much good to me these past few days (apart from the tiring travels) No classes for a whole week which means long resting time.  And now that Ive finally finished everything I can now blog.

Have is your Holy Week going? Have a nice day gorg!

My Life Recently and What's on my Playlist February!

Credits to owner.
Hi gorg! January ended without me even noticing! It has been days since the last time I posted. Well, we all knew now that I moved to a new place and I'm still adjusting in every aspect including time. I know I should set priorities but sometimes 24 hours isn't enough. Anyway, I'm here now typing. This will be a double up post of What's on my Playlist and My Life Recently post just because of..well..time.

I have been searching for the BEST morning song. I mean the ones that wakes up your soul in 5 am and instantly boosts up your mood! Katy Perry, ladies, made it to the top. I've been obsessed with her song HUMMING BIRD HEARTBEAT from her Teenage Dream album.

Apart from Katy (who by the way, slayed the Super Bowl Half time!!) Ellie Goulding is one of my faves this month! Do I have to say what song I'm talking about?? Fifty Shades baby!(Don't get me wrong I didn't attempt to read the book. )  LOVE ME LIKE YOU DO.  This is song is something, really! I mean relate the song to the movie or not it's awesome. Ellie is awesome.

I have been loving inspirational and meaningful quotes and lines, and behold, I have found the perfect song to be inspired and stand up for yourself and be BRAVE. I first heard an excerpt of the song from a Kpop Singing Contest my Aunt loves watching. And Im like, "Nice song." The second time was when they were about to send me off, it played on the radio. And I'm like, "That's my song." Lyrics wise, It's so uplifting. Beat wise, I just wanna dance away with it. PERFECT SONG. Sara Bareilles, thank you! :D

Let's not forget about Maroon 5's SUGAR. Oh and the Music Video is priceless. How I wish in my wildest dream that Maroon 5 can play on my wedding (which is like ages from now. LOL)

Music has always been a big part of my day ever since. It easily makes up my mood. It has been my companion these past few days most especially those times where I seriously felt like crying. Recently, I feel like I'm a fish out of water. I don't know where to place myself. Because, first, they are used to this place. I mean they grew up here! For sure they have friends around as for me after school I go straight to my dorm. Spending most of my time alone. Second, they have a dialect here that I cannot understand. Talk about being totally left out of the conversation. It is hard and I have been trying my best to really fit in and just enjoy this adventure. ( #adventurIsh LOL I made that up :D ) Anyway, MUSIC! MUSIC IS THE ANSWER!

When life gives you lemon, make a lemonade gorg! :*

Going SOLO

Hello gorg! How's life recently? Me, I moved to a new place for studying purposes. Yep, that's why I'm doing this post. I haven't been here for a week but I surely learned a lot of things already. I sure did adjust a lot in the last 5 days that I've stayed here.

Are you moving to a new place too? Here's some tips to get you started:

*LOOK FOR A DECENT PLACE TO STAY IN
What I mean by decent is a place where you will feel safe (I mean a place that's really safe) and comfortable. You might not want to settle in an environment that is dirty, right? We still want to feel at home. Try looking for a dorm/apartment that has security guards or CCTV cameras. This way you'll feel more safer mostly at night.

*START PREPARING 1 WEEK BEFORE MOVING
Surely you've seen the place you're going to move in. Think of the things you will need if you are there. Of course, let's not forget the necessities. Are you allowed to cook inside the dorm/apartment? Or bring pets? Those things you have to know and consider. Make sure to make a list of the things you'll need so won't forget anything.

*CHECK YOUR LIST THE NIGHT BEFORE YOU MOVE IN
JUST BECAUSE YOU WOULDN'T LIKE TO FORGET SOMETHING. Just to be sure.

*CLEAN YOUR PLACE
When you get to your place, make sure you brought with you all purpose cleaners. You might want to scrub the floor, walls and the CR. Every inch of your place. If you're like an OC like me when it comes to cleanliness.

*PERSONALIZE YOUR SPACE
Decide where to put your things. Your tables, bed, appliances. Make sure you have efficient space. Nobody enjoys a crammed place.

*ROAM AROUND OUTSIDE YOUR PLACE
You wouldn't stay inside forever! You have to know the things around you. You have to be aware of everything since you're new to the place. Adapt the environment and how people do their things.

*LOOK FOR NEARBY RESTAURANTS, TRANSPORTATION, HOSPITAL, OR COFFEE SHOP
You just have to know.

*BE ATTENTIVE
You have to pay attention to everything that is happening around you. It is hard to be in a place that you don't know anyone. Don't stay out late at night. You don't want to end up getting raped or kidnapped right?

It really is a lot of adjusting and it's not just with the place but also with the environment and the people around you. Maybe a month is still a short time time to say that you've finally adjusted. The first few days you got sent off will be the worst ones. I mean it. You'll cry and feel lonely most of the time especially when you don't know someone. But you'll slowly realize that living alone is a good thing (If you're used to being independent tho. Some people just aren't used to being alone) It will make you grow. Being independent feels like you've finally come out of your comfort zone. And that is what makes you a better person.

You got it gorg!

How to Make this Year a Good One!

Credits to the Owner of the photo. "QUEEN TAY" <3

All of us just wants a good year. Who wouldn't, right? But what is the secret to a happy year? I asked the same question myself. That is how I ended up writing this post.

  THINK POSITIVE
There is nothing more better than thinking the positives in everything! Life will be much easier for all of us if we just seek the good in everything. It may be something big or small, always accept it positively. This year won't be a good one if you keep attracting bad vibes, right?

  SET GOALS
We should always set our goals so we will know what we want to achieve. We wouldn't like a year that is unplanned, right? We don't want to end this year saying that we didn't accomplish even a single thing. Because what we want is to get all things done and feel proud of ourselves about all the things we've done.

   STAY FIT/HEALTHY
Being fit is like the new trend. Everybody wants that killer body! So this year why don't we start making things happen? Make ourselves comfortable in our own skin by working out and staying fit. Not just being fit but to be healthy too! Go to gym. Take a short run around your place. There are endless ways to stay fit. Go cut that carbs, too! Why not try eating more fruits and vegetables and less junk foods and fast foods.Gone will be the days where you just feel envious of those girls with fit bodies. (But it will still be your choice if you want to. :D )

  DO WHATEVER YOU LIKE
This year, nobody will ever tell you what you have to do! This is going to be your year, claim it! If you want to dye your hair, do it! Cutting it short? DO IT! Deciding to shift courses? DO IT! DO IT! DO WHAT YOU WANT! All we want is to let this year be the most memorable and awesome one 'cause we literally did everything that we wanted! NO REGRETS!

ACCEPT THE FACT THAT PROBLEMS WILL COME
One thing is for sure, IT WILL COME..AND IT WILL GO. Don't let your year be spoiled by being too depressed our whatever. Problem is not a permanent thing!

   STAY STRONG AND SMILE
And ofcourse, you have to stay strong. This year will be like any other year, it will be a rough ride and you just have to sit tight and hold firmly. But we have to make the best out of everything even the worst things. To find happiness we should go thru a lot of tough things so we better be strong. Just shake it off and smile then shout, "I'M AWESOME AND THIS YEAR IS GONNA BE A GOOD ONE!!!"

But it will all be up to us. Either we make it or break it. But know by heart that all we want is to let this year be a memorable one. A good one.

Wishing you a GREAT year!!

Love lots, Isha <3

2015 - My Year.

hi gorg! It's been a while since I last updated. How's your year so far? Mine is going so well. I felt like this year is going to be my year! So many great things are about to happen and I'm so excited. '

These past few days I have been trying out new things. Just putting some checks on my bucketlist. A few of my new experiences includes:

SKATING
As a kid I've dreamed of becoming a professional figure skater. I took ballet so my parents decided that I should take skating lessons too. Unfortunately, day before I start taking my lessons I got chicken pox. After that my dream of becoming a figure skater just disappeared. But hey, it is never too late to try. So I tried skating and I swear I love it! It felt like I was born to skate. LOL. But being on ice makes me feel happy and proud of myself.

Me, my boyfriend Paul and my sister

To Eat French Macarons
It was a priceless moment. That time when I turned my head and saw a pastry shop selling french macarons, I flipped! I was so excited that even tho it was quite pricey I still bought different flavors to try on. I LOVE IT!

Pistachio, Strawberry and Lemon

Eat Green Tea (Matcha) Kit kat
Green tea kit kat? Well that's weird but not until you taste it. It taste good, I can't really explain how it taste like but I was not bad like how I expected it to be. I was actually surprised that it taste like that. I such probably buy more.

And I just celebrated my birthday and I still feel young. LOL.

This year has just started but I'm already on a roll. I seriously believe that this year will be the start of everything good. Everything new.

I wish you guys a good year!

My Life Recently.

Weird looking girl.
Hello gorg! How have you been? Well for me I am doing just fine these past few days! Been quite busy and I'm super thankful for that. The last thing I want to happen is to stay all day all night at home doing entirely nothing! Honestly, before the last semester ended I thought that I should get enough rest before I start my next year (which will be totally bloody!) and now all I can think of is that I've had enough rest and I needed to go out and entertain myself! I'm just so bored inside the house doing entirely the same things everyday. I can't even go out ('cause part of me doesn't want to but also part of wants someone to ask me out. And since I'm here in subic that's so not gonna happen anytime soon.)

Anyway, as I've said I was quite busy these few days. Last Thursday I was so packed with orders for our Christmas Crinkles (This is like a so last minute business with my Aunt. We recently tried making Chocolate crinkles and my Tita gave her friends some and they loved it and asked for orders. And we're like "What?Orders? Are we like doing business now?" But then since the opportunity is already there knocking why not let it come in? :D) Friday morning was also busy since I have to bake the pre- made crinkles and 200 pieces is hard work when you're doing it alone! But it kept me pretty much occupied. Then later that day we had to prepare loot bags for my cousin's booth (Her school is having a bazaar.) and everything we need.

I seriously want to talk about the booth we have at the bazaar. Because it reminds me so much of my elementary days. I still remember how excited I was going to that monthly bazaar that our school held. it's like fishing but you're actually fishing for loots. It was one of the best memories I have of my childhood. FISHING!!!

AND TODAY IS MY ELLI BOO'S 1ST BIRTHDAY!!! I LOVE MY BABY SO MUCH I'M SO HAPPY. <3

I know I'm blabbing about too much already so I'll just keep this short. :) Have a great week everyone!!

My Life Recently

Credits to whoever owns this beautiful photo of Queen Taylor!

Hello!!!!! I know I have been sluggish these past few days and I'm so sorry for that! Holiday season is approaching and I've been brainstorming for holiday related post. And so far I haven't made any progress.  I have many things in my mind right now that I can't even process properly. I'm currently stuck and I seriously don't know what to do first. With holidays and school coming up. I'm such a perfect mess right now. I'm having dilemmas of what gifts should I buy for Christmas. And where to get cash. LOL.   This is like the most hardest thing for a broke teenager. I wanted to buy something for myself this Christmas but I also want to give gifts! And yep, you've guessed it right I don't have enough cash to spend. I cry

Enough with my shortage of cash rants. My main problem right now is School. 'Cause my school starts 3rd week of January and by that time it'll be hard to get a studio type room 'cause it's the middle of the semester for other schools. And now we've been travelling 4 hours just so we can go around my school's area just to find a dorm. And it's freaking stressful! I'm actually super excited to go and have my own space but it is tough to find a decent and nice place in this time of the year where every single dorms are all freaking full. (we actually found one and it's very nice and new and cheap. So I'll just pray that they get that room for me )

So yea, I've been recently stressing about a lot of important things that's why it's hard for me to juggle everything. I really hope that I could start my holiday related posts by tomorrow (because it's December tomorrow! Hooray!) And I hope I can clear my ming as soon as possible cause this "thinking-too-much-brain" ain't working for me and it is driving me nuts! And stress will make me look ugly so hopefully! LOL. Anyway, Advance Happy December 1st everyone!!!
And I also hope that none of you is having the same problems as me cause it's legit making me CRAY CRAY MORE  LOL. Good Night!

Love Lots! ISHA
